Oakland Skilled Nursing Facility

Targeting LEED Gold Certification, this project is a proposed Integrated Long-Term Care Facility with 120 Subacute Care Semi-Private and Skilled Nursing and a Skilled Nursing Facility with 50 Private beds.

The project will include and integrate a dialysis facility. Project also includes 15,400 SF of commercial space for supporting tenant including a clinic and supportive rehabilitative space. The overall project is designed to fit within the transit oriented development planning overlay near a BART station.

The building will be of type I/II cast in place concrete construction as required for “I” institutional occupancies under California Building Code. The structure will adopt post tension floor plates to minimize the structural depth to increase the available space for building mechanical systems between the floors. Building amenities include private roof area for patients/visitors, generous common area and dining room, and integrated medical offices / therapy suite.
