As part of the Warriors new arena complex in San Francisco, AE3 joint ventured with Pfau Long Architects to serve as the design architect for two new office towers on the site. These office towers, which encompass over 550,000 SF, define the primary entry and retail plaza for the sports complex. The lower 2 floors consisting of restaurants and other retail were designed to activate a large pedestrian plaza illuminated by large expanses of LED signage.

The buildings are steel framed with a concrete shear core which allow maximum adaptability by both high-tech, and potentially bio-tech, tenants. AE3’s role, in addition to providing input to the overall design, included serving as the local architect of record and leading the production of the exterior curtain wall design package that was used to fast-track the selection of design-build contractors for this part of the project. The project has been designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
