“Delivering on time and on budget”

AE3 Partners has adopted a strong client centered construction management approach for its services based on simple, time tested principals and methods. Although we readily adopt new technologies and techniques we feel that these should never supplant such “basics” as regular face-to-face communications, regular on site presence, and the need to have simple, straightforward processes scaled to the project at hand.

Our Service Philosophy

The core of our professional philosophy is, with each decision always asking the question “how will the Client benefit?” Whether we provide real estate, design, or construction management services we believe that the sole purpose of our existence is to execute a project to your benefit. Throughout our careers, all AE3 principals and employees have believed, and more importantly have practiced, to the following standards:

  • That the Owner’s objectives must always come first – all decisions should be made solely on that basis. There is no room for “hidden agendas” in this industry.
  • That we perform our services per the professional standard of care and ethics.
  • That the Owner derives the maximum value / return for every dollar spent in the project.
  • That the Project be completed as quickly and expeditiously as possible.
  • That the Project be run proactively so that all challenges and potential pitfalls are identified in advance, instead of being dealt with after-the-fact.
  • That the Owner is always an informed decision maker, and fully understands the ramifications of every decision that they are required to make.
  • In the event of a problem, the immediate and correct question to ask is always “How do we get this project back on track?” and not ”Who is at fault?” We will also report problems with solutions and feasible options.
  • A Value Oriented Approach

AE3 always seeks to find the best value for the Client in the design and execution of this project. “Value” is defined as the ratio of the benefit to the client divided by the cost (whether it be time or schedule), which goes back to back to our fundamental question “how does the Client benefit?” Value Engineering is the practice of maximizing the benefit to the Client while minimizing their cost, whether it is first cost or operational lifecycle cost. This approach recognizes that cheaper is not always better, if there is a sacrifice to the project’s program requirements or if there are “hidden” cost down the line.
