St. Anthony’s Foundation, 121 & 150 Golden Gate Avenue

AE3 provided construction management services for two new buildings on the St. Anthony’s Foundation’s Tenderloin Campus. For sixty years, the St. Anthony’s Foundation has been providing very low-income people in the working-class neighborhood of San Francisco’s Tenderloin with free job training, hot meals and medical services.

The first project, a new 47,000 SF, 5-story, steel-frame building at 150 Golden Gate Avenue, houses temporary food service and dining facilities, a free medical/dental clinic, social services, classrooms, computer labs and administrative space. The site’s previous building was demolished prior to construction of the new building. This project is LEED Gold certified.

The second building, at 121 Golden Gate Avenue, is a 50,000 SF, 10-story concrete high-rise. The basement, first and second floor will be used for the food preparation and storage, a commercial kitchen and dining hall for the St. Anthony Foundation.  There will also be administrative offices and 90 units of senior apartments for Mercy Housing on floors 3 – 10. This site’s previous building was also demolished prior to constructing the new building. This project is LEED Silver certified.
