Description: Renovation of an existing dilapidated 1930’s gas station into a small café / eatery. Project preserved the art deco exterior, but rebuilt the interior with a modern kitchen seating area and compact bathroom core. Site was repaved / landscaped to provide a generous outdoor seating area. Project is part of the Oakland Façade Improvement Program which provides matching funds to upgrade blighted properties.
